How does one evaluate acting and performances in a film so driven by heavy visual effects? As long as one isnt bored or is buying into the world the makers have created, things seem to be moving in the right direction. Aquaman 2is surely not historic, but it does manage to hold your attention and at some moments, your breath. Appropriate because how long can one stay inside water!

On the whole, AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM works due to Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilsons equation and performances in the film but suffers on account of a disappointing climax. At the box office, itll face a tough time since itll get sandwiched between SALAAR and DUNKI.

The film could have been a saving grace to DCEU, but it turned into a heartbreaking dream. The one where you still want to sleep a little longer and wait for things to get right. However, this is a landslide destruction where the film just falls. Amber Heards badly edited scenes add misery to this falling tale. The film might have fallen prey to overexposure in gossip columns, but what could have been the saving grace was an effort to make the story work, which, by the way, had the perfect recipe for a wonderful film.
