Is Avengers: Endgame the best film in the MCU? Perhaps not. Is it the busiest? Without doubt. Theres so much going on in the film, especially in its big action centrepiece, youll be straining to keep up with the pace. The films tone shifts so skilfully between dramatic and comic, theres seldom a dull moment. At three hours and one minute sure its long but I suspect youll be happy to stay in the company of these folks.And when its time to bid farewell to old friends, youll be fighting back tears. What more do you want from a film? Im going with four out of five for Avengers: Endgame. Watch it on the largest screen you can find.

Avengers: Endgame is a many-splendored thing. The film is of course a massive industrial machine. Over 10 years, Marvel has created an entertainment juggernaut serialized storytelling with multiple franchises, all of which have successful characters. But despite the constraints of commerce that weigh down gigantic event movies, directors Anthony and Joe Russo tell a story that has layers, quietude, scale and above all, grand emotion. There is earnestness here and euphoria. I wept, not once but many times. And I exited the theatre feeling like I had said goodbye to a friend after a long and satisfying relationship.

Theyre insisting that this is the end, but its like Tony choosing pizza over cheeseburgers – we all know thats never going to happen. The more movies they keep making, the more theyre going to dilute the impact of Endgame, But for fans whove been there from day one, it will be the satisfying conclusion theyve been waiting for, and a love letter to the franchise they adore. The MCU, in this moment, has given us a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Cherish it. Hold it dear. Whatever it takes.

So drop everything and book your tickets for Avengers: Endgame, because this is a spectacle is tailor made for the biggest possible movie screens in your city. Everything, I repeat, everything about Avengers Endgame is worth the wait.It’s a massacre situation in the whole film, but the surviving Avengers know how to live, love and laugh which gives the viewers several hilarious and tear jerking moments. If the Russo brothers had set a benchmark with Avengers Infinity War, they have pushed the envelope further with Endgame.

Overwhelming. It best describes the final chapter that culminates Marvel Cinematic Universes 21 iconic films into one. And that also describes the experience of watching your favourite superheroes come together for a singular goal, for one last time. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo ensure that the humongous build-up and the avalanche of expectations do not get the better of them. They deliver a largely wholesome product that is full of moments laced with action, emotion, comedy and drama. Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely take you along, even if you havent been following the franchise. So if youre not a fan yet, chances are, you might become one after watching this instalment.
