On the whole, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is quite an enetrtaining fare for home viewing. It is good that the film has been premiered on OTT as it could not have worked well in cinemas.

Theres a lot going on in this caper. A diamond heist. Goons and guns. Greedy politicians and straight-arrow officers. Topping it all is a hijack, with men in masks running around a plane, shooting and terrorising passengers.The film is fine till it stays on the two of them, but when it starts to play with all its other threads, it starts feeling scattered. And the moment it reveals its cards, with alert viewers seeing it come, it loses zing.

With Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, filmmaker Ajay Singh created his own template, a gripping tale with impressive narrative and right twist and turn to stir the movie forward.The magic of film lies within the twist and turns, double crosses and superbly timed diversion by characters and plot, which is nothing short of sublime.

The plot had all the ingredients for an exciting up-in-the-air thriller, but lousy writing got in the way of a narrative that could have made great viewing. Instead, the script runs away with the Chor. Hotchpotch editing adds to the misery. Finally, I have a question: Why is Yami picking such bad scripts? And a compelling actor like Indraneil Sengupta is left doing inane roles! More importantly, is it not time for Netflix to pick better scripts and movies?

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is a true thriller with a gripping storyline and superlative performances by Yami and Sunny, who changes many shades during the film. Films story keeps jumping from current scene to flash-back and there is a lot happening at one point, which could be tedious at time, but none the less, the film is an outstanding thrilling drama, which will find its audience.
