JrNTR is an extraordinary talent, Devara endorses it… Solid writing, terrific action, great BGM, efficient SaifAliKhan… Second half could’ve been sharper, but action + twist in finale are super.

On the whole, Devara Part 1 is too ordinary and routine to click at the Hindi box-office. It will do disappointing business. Of course, Jr. NTR’s superstardom will ensure that the box-office results of the original Telugu version are different.

Overall, Devara: Part 1 is visually stunning but narratively underwhelming. Jr NTR’s solid performance, combined with high production values and Anirudh’s score, makes it worth watching. However, the predictable plot in the second half may disappoint those expecting a more thrilling cinematic experience.

Janhvi Kapoor, however, has just a cameo in Devara. Her character hardly adds any value to Devara.Devara: Part 1 ends on a cliffhanger just like SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali did. But, it is also a film that makes you question if all ambitious films deserve two parts.

Even if the promise of the answer isn’t inviting enough, I would still be back for the sequel because that’s what superstar films are all about. It puts people on the seats, come what may, and on that front, Jr NTR who is returning to the big screen as a solo hero after six years, re-establishes his credentials as one of India’s biggest superstars. Dev-aura, indeed.

On the whole, ‘Devara: Part 1’ is a gripping action drama that offers an entertaining cinematic experience. Jr NTR delivers a stellar performance in two distinct roles, while Saif Ali Khan shines as the vengeful antagonist. The film’s stunning visuals, epic action sequences, and compelling performances make it a must-watch, even if the storyline becomes predictable at times. If you’re a fan of larger-than-life revenge dramas, ‘Devara: Part 1’ is definitely worth your time. Don’t miss out on this thrilling start to what promises to be an epic saga.

In many ways, the film is what exactly you expect in the trailer. Devara manages to dish up more action. From action to drama to romance and even exotic locations in songs. However, a tighter writing in the second half could have made the film more engaging.
And as expected, Janhvi Kapoor makes a glamorous entry in the second half. She has limited screen time though.

Overall, Devara is not a great film but not a poor film either. With Koratala’s familiar and standard narrative, it has to be seen if Tarak’s performance in tandem with Anirudh’s striking BGM brings it to shore from drowning in the Red Sea. The expectations went down a bit after the trailer was released and in a way that helped Devara.

Overall, the film suffers from a lack of originality and freshness in its characters and narrative. Comparatively, this film is slightly better than Acharya in terms of content, though on the flip side Acharya at least had good songs. The songs in Devara are a major disappointment. It may only appeal to those who can endure an emotionless action drama. The impact of the film focuses more on fights and bloodshed than on other elements.

On the whole, Devara: Part 1 is an action-packed drama that delivers entertainment. Jr NTR carries the film with his outstanding performance, while Janhvi Kapoor adds her charm, and Saif Ali Khan is commendable in his role. On the downside, the film features a predictable storyline and some lagging scenes in the second half. Don’t miss out – grab your tickets and make your weekend special.

Devara first half is very good, while the second half is slow at times and pretty average with a twist in climax. NTR delivers a stellar performance in his dual role, and the film is substantially backed by Anirudh’s electrifying background score, Koratala’s powerful writing in first half, and the grand scale of the production. Overall, Devara is a feast for Fans and masses and a sure onetime watch for family audience.
