The Secrets of Dumbledore doesnt offer anything new in terms of story but that doesnt curb its ability to cast a spell on you. The wizard elections are fun, too! This one deserves a family theatre outing regardless of your familiarity to the Harry Potter film series.

The fact that Johnny Depp was replaced due to his personal life controversy, and J.K. Rowling continues to get two credits for screenplay and characters will forever ring the bells of bias in my head. Keeping that aside, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore choses to be surface level when it has much more to explore. Maybe better than the sequel but still disappointing.

In fact, FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE brings things a full circle as it explains in more detail finer points and references made in previous releases. Peppered with light humour, courtesy Dan Foglers character, the film does not become a constant drivel of wizard battles and chases.On the whole, FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE makes for a riveting watch. For Potter heads, the film is a throwback to the series in terms of visuals, action, adventure, and of course magic. Answering questions that have caused many a discussion, the film is certainly a must watch for the wizard in you
