Vishal Furias direction is ordinary. He has not been able to create the atmosphere needed to enjoy a thriller. Music (Amol-Abhishek, Rachita Arora and Shabbir Ahmed) is nothing to shout about. Lyrics (Abhishek Talented, Ravi Rao and Shabbir Ahmed) pass muster. Adrija Guptas background music is average. Anshul Chobeys cinematography is passable. Ajay Thakur Pathanias action and stunt scenes lack fire. Sheetal Duggals production designing is dull. Abhijeet Deshpandes editing leaves something to be desired. On the whole, Forensic is a dull fare.

Director Vishal Furias remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name that starred Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. After retaining some of the original story’s elements, this Hindi remake includes a number of unexpected twists that create a completely unique experience. And even if you’ve seen the original, it wouldn’t be incorrect to say that everyone will still enjoy a heart-pounding experience thanks to the fast-paced screenplay written by Vishal Kapoor, Ajit Shashikant Jagtap, and Adhir Bhatt. A whodunnit crime thriller requires a gloomy aesthetic, which the film has in spades.

The plot gets into the thick of anguish when Meghas niece disappears. And the aunt is horrified at the turn of events. But Johnny steps in to comfort Megha and crack the crime. We know that it would be solved (has to be be), but when the climax comes, it is shocking, though a little over the top. A gripping crime capper, smartly edited, but a little more tweaking of the script could have given it a better rating.

Forensic is both a loose remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name and a review of it. Director Vishal Furias Hindi version improves on the original films best elements a gruesome crime, shocking plot turns, fleet pacing but also contains an equally preposterous twist.

पिछले साल अमेजन प्राइम पर हॉरर फिल्म छोरी लाने वाले निर्देशक विशाल फूरिया नई फिल्म लाए हैं, फॉरेंसिक. यह क्राइम थ्रिलर है. जो धीरे-धीरे साइकोलॉजिकल क्राइम थ्रिलर में बदलती है. शांत-सैलानियों वाले शहर मसूरी में अचानक तब हलचल मच जाती है, जब एक के बाद एक नन्हीं बच्चियों के कत्ल होने लगते हैं. जन्मदिन पर एक आवाज उन्हें अपने पीछे बुलाती है और कोई कुछ समझ पाए, इससे पहले ही वे नींद के गोद में सो जाती हैं. बच्चियों की मौत की इसी गुत्थी को फॉरेंसिक सुलझाती है.

FORENSIC is an adaptation of the 2020 Malayalam film of the same name. Mansi Bagla’s story is filled with lots of twists and turns and makes for a nice whodunit. Vishal Kapoor and Ajit Jagtap’s screenplay is effective. The characters are intriguing and the goings-on are quite captivating. However, a few developments are silly and could have been better written. Adhir Bhatt’s dialogues are sharp. The Johnny Johnny, Yes Papa? bit, however, doesnt seem apt in most scenes.
