Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 is both likable and exhausting and therein lies
the ram this is the 32nd film in the MCU we are now in Phase five and for me at least superhero fatigue is at an all-time high like everyone else I cheered loudly in Spider-Man no way home but 11 years after the first Avengers film it’s becoming harder and harder to muster enthusiasm for spandex Intergalactic Wars and eye glazing VFX battles

James Gunn has written an interesting and truly engaging story and screenplay. The writing becomes all the more special for the viewers because it is the last of the trilogy. Gunn has added comedy, drama, emotions, action and dance to make it a wholesome entertainer €” and successfully so.On the whole, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 is an entertaining fare and will perform well at the ticket windows.

We finished Volume 2 with the question: how many stars can a galaxy take. Clearly, keep counting. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is an even more chaotic, if less zanier, addition to its two previous partner films, and among the many planets it zooms, crashes or just swings through include a Contra-Earth and Earth itself. But it essentially is a passing of the baton. This is a film in which Rocket the Raccoon gets a backstory, a centrestage, and a glorious send-off into the future

Unlike the recent Marvel films, GOG3 isnt chaotic despite the scale and elements involved. Gunn retains the good old charm of a noncomplex storyline at a time of multiverse madness and that feels hugely satisfying. While the humour is in abundance, it doesnt dilute the gravity of a situation. Music works in tandem with the story and elevates the mood and action scenes are breath-taking. You may not sob as much as you did in Avengers: Endgame but be prepared to be moved, entertained, and loved. Wait back for two post-credit scenes.

The two hours and 29 minutes movie hits it home when it comes to fan service. James Gunn is fully aware that he is marching towards the exit door since the first scene starts playing out and he does everything in his control to give the characters he worked on for over a decade now a fitting tribute. Bottom line: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is a treat for James Gunn fans. It truly feels like an end of an era for MCU fans and the filmmaker will be missed. PS: Stay back for the shocker of a post-credit scene.

To sum up, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is emotional. Yes! But the EQ overpowers the other elements of the movie, leaving you with an underwhelming feeling of disappointment. However, you can still trust the post-credits to leave you smiling.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is not a perfect film. It is not even one of the best from the Marvel stable. But it is one of their best in the recent times. It is entertaining, visually-stunning, and even touching in parts. At its best, it reminds you of the zenith of Marvel and fills you with some hope for the future of the franchise.

James Gunn, in his last act at Marvel, does fan service in the most triumphal way possible, and I concluded that watching the critics screening along with die-hard Marvel fans/influencers.Gunn excludes this one from all the multiverse, post-Thanos chaos with no mention of anything Avengers. Theres no Kang The Destroyer, thanks to the otherworldly set-up of the film in another universe. But all those plus points get burdened with how well the first two Guardians films were & how this one kind of hits the Diminishing Marginal Utility during some portions.

It has been over a decade since we first met the guardians of the galaxy. For all those who have seen and breathed the franchise, part 3, the one last time, the swan song, could be an emotionally moving experience at the cinemas this week. But director James Gunn isnt a believer of tear-jerkers, he laces the this Superhero movie with smashingly entertaining bits and peppers them with boisterous one liners. Its sad we wont meet them again, but we can always revisit the memories they gave us. As Groot says, I love you guys.
