On the whole, John Wick: Chapter 4 is a fair entertainer but the excessive and lengthy action scenes will, to a great extent, limit its business in Hindi. The original English version will fare far better.

While Reeves has fewer lines in this film compared to any other in the saga up to this point, he perfectly delivers Wicks conviction while also lending the character an emotional touch that gives this chapter more complexity. Like its main protagonist, the action franchise that has been hailed as a rare breed has aged like fine wine, and Chapter 4 stands to be the finest of them all. With the artfully shot combat scenes to the seamless character arc of Wick, the film, which has a tight screenplay and eye-catching aesthetics, has grown into becoming a benchmark for its franchise and others of the same genre.

Director Chad Stahelski has turned John Wick into a pop-culture icon, as he knows the expectations from the series and makes sure to deliver them. John Wick 4 is the longest film of the series, and so far, it is the best action film of the year. Team JW – Chad, Keanu, Donnie, and Ian McShane – have saved it best for the last.

The John Wick series has been clear and precise in its offering, and Chapter 4, aka JW4, is no different in its premise. It builds on what the franchise has become synonymous with high-octane, dazzling action choreography and close-quarter combat featuring Keanu Reeves doing what he does best. But JW4 turns it all up a notch, expanding the mythos of the High Table with old players, featuring Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and the late Lance Reddick, but also introduces a mixed breed of new characters who are all instantly memorable.

John Wick: Chapter 4 might be the longest film from the franchise but it delivers what it promised: entertainment. Fans of the franchise are in for a ball. I am already expecting videos of them screaming, hooting, and gasping to go viral online. PS: Stay back for the jaw-dropping post-credit scene.

Director Chad Stahelski delivers a film, which will be remembered as one of the best actioners of Hollywood. The film has explored all elements of action. Right from a desert horse chase to a swift sword fight, the technical team has designed every piece of action like a visual treat. Despite the runtime of over 2 hours and 50 minutes, John Wick: Chapter 4 grabs your attention right from the first frame and leaves you clapping, hooting and teary-eyed during the end credits.
