MORE DETAIL:

LOVE’S SECOND ACT is a sparkling romance streaming on Great American Pure Flix.

Jamie is thrilled when her boss and producer, Aaron, informs her that the studio has bought her screenplay pitch. This is Jamie’s dream come true. The only catch is they want her completed script in less than a week. Since the story centers on her childhood hometown movie theater, Aaron thinks it’s a great idea to send her home for inspiration. Reluctantly, Jamie agrees.

Jamie’s family receive her enthusiastically, because it’s been too long since she’s been home. Jamie has avoided home, the place where she first fell in love with her ex-boyfriend, Nick. He abruptly broke up with her, breaking her heart and causing her to doubt the very idea of love.

Jamie returns to the movie theater for inspiration. She runs into Nick, who’s now the theater’s General Manager. They reminisce about the past and how they were once a great writing team. Jamie’s determined to finish her screenplay. She asks for Nick’s help, and he happily agrees. However, Jamie’s unaware that Nick has problems of his own. His father is selling the movie theater. The new owner will demolish the old theater and put condos in its place.

Jamie discovers the love between her and Nick is still there. However, Nick has a habit of disappointing Jamie when it matters most. So, Jamie carefully and understandably guards her heart.

Can Nick help Jamie accomplish her goal? It may be the only breakthrough that will prove to Jamie that true love can have a happy ending.
