Her ancestors are calling her home as Walt Disney Studios releases the official trailer for their upcoming animated sequel Moana 2. View trailer below.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ epic animated musical “Moana 2” reunites Moana (voice of Cravalho) and Maui (voice of Johnson) three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever face.

Oh wow…a new trailer! Much like what i said about thee teaser trailer for this upcoming film, the first Moana movie was great and was very much “in-line” with Disney’s signature identity, which was done in a way that was entertaining and engaging. So, of course, given the amount of success that the film received, Disney would one day bring a sequel to Moana to light, which originally began as a TV series for Disney+, but was then later decided to become a feature length film. This new trailer showcases plenty of new footage from the new film project, including more details surrounding the movie’s plot as well as several new characters that will be joining Moana and Maui on their journey. Overall, I’m very much excited to see what Moana 2 has to offer and how it will be received by moviegoers everywhere this holiday season.
