The roar is back€¦ Tiger3 is the biggest dhamaka you can expect this Diwali€¦ Excellent second half, solid action pieces, superb cameos and of course, a ferocious SalmanKhan. 2023 marks the comeback of well-made masala entertainers that also revived the struggling theatrical biz: Pathaan, Jawan and Gadar2€¦ Its time to add yet another prominent title to this distinguished list: Tiger3.

The first half is fair. Although the second half is better and more fast-paced, the point of Tiger helping the Pakistani PM keeps disturbing the audience, thereby reducing the impact of the drama. On the whole, Tiger 3 lacks in merits and has a story which may not find great acceptance, but its business will be far, far more than the merits.  But to expect that the film will match the business of Jawan or Gadar 2 or Pathaan would be foolhardiness.

Be aware that the law of diminishing returns applies to Tiger 3. It’s the weakest installment in both the trilogy and the entire franchise. These films should function like a giant slot machine, consistently delivering dopamine hits at regular intervals, yet this one falls short. However, what does work effectively is the relationship between Tiger and Zoya, portrayed by Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

This time around, extenuating circumstances force Tiger and Zoya into adopting a questionable stance around a briefcase which contains secret codes. Just who are they working for? Is Zoya really a double agent? Has Tiger turned? After Kabir Sharma and Abbas Ali Zafar, it is Maneesh Sharma at the helm of this third Tiger iteration, and when it begins, with a fast-paced action sequence involving a grievously hurt RAW agent and Tiger-to-the-rescue motorcycle chase, you sit back, fully prepared to enjoy the ride.

Finding the meaning of existence is similar to reviewing a proper Salman Khan movie. You wont understand it at all, and life will continue as it should. To wake up at 6 am with a full house auditorium rooting for the super-hero Sal-man is a very different kind of experience€”something that also has a charm of its own. There are many sweet-worthy moments in Tiger 3 including the cameos (which is known by everyone). Salman fans are in for a treat this Diwali.

‘Tiger 3s weakest moments are hidden in the gaps of a somewhat weak story line. The India- Pakistan premise feels a bit outdated and the idea of an Indian agent going all out to save the life of the neighbouring country’s PM feels a tad bit stretched. The national anthem moment also feels a bit out of place and forced.

Tiger 3 continues the saga of YRF’s spy universe, with the same old premise of a highly motivated terrorist harbouring an utterly misplaced idea of patriotism. Shridhar Raghavans story serves as a canvas for director Maneesh Sharma to put up a high-octane action show that weaves the elements of duty, personal sacrifice, and patriotism. Bhai fans can rejoice, as he looks fresh and back in perfect form. He goes all out performing dare-devil stunts that not only defy death and gravity but also logic. Nonetheless, its a full-blown visual spectacle

Tiger 3 film is made for Salman Khan fans who love to see him doing maar-dhaad like no other. It is a Diwali dhamaka, so we would say, it’s a one time watch Bollywood-style action film that will entertain you but in parts.

Both John Abraham in Pathaan and Emraan Hashmi in Tiger 3 have a backstory that justifies what they did and what they ultimately became. They were victims that chose to walk on the streets of villainy and fire. And both embodied their characters with swag and style. But this is about the past. Yash Raj Films is far from done with their universe. We still have War 2 left, and maybe Pathaan 2 and possibly Tiger 4. And before we can even see what lies in these movies, itll be all over social media. How about Pathaan, Tiger, and Kabir joining hands to combat social media menace? And do more action and less talking?
