On the whole, Yudhra is too ordinary to do anything substantive at the box-office. It has taken a good start because of the National Cinema Day when admission rates are lower than usual, but it cannot be expected to have a long run at the cinemas.

The trouble with Yudhra is that it never pauses for breath. It is relentlessly violent – it certainly isn’t for the faint of heart – but the firepower and constant crackle that the thriller deploys is never enough to ratchet up its intensity to a point where it can grab and hold the audience’s interest over prolonged stretches of time. It clicks only in fits and starts.

‘Yudhra’ manages to make some resets but also succumbs to jadedness on multiple scores, so it becomes a case of coming upon a few energetic set-pieces which then sink into laxity and predictability which goes on for much too long.

Be it Bloody Daddy, Kill and now Yudhra. It’s interesting to see Bollywood going full throttle in action. But action doesn’t need to be devoid of emotions.

To sum up, Yudhra lies somewhere between an earnest effort and a missed opportunity. You try hard to like it but never fully feel invested in the chaos that’s transpiring on screen.

Visually, the film excels with dynamic cinematography, blending elements inspired by comic books and anime. The background score, especially during Raghav Juyal’s introduction, is captivating and enhances the overall experience.

But despite its average story-telling, we cannot deny that Yudhra is one of the biggest action spectacles of the year. The intense bike chase sequences filmed across the iconic streets of Mumbai will surely give you an adrenaline rush. When it comes to value for money, I would say it is a good one-time watch in the theatres only. Don’t wait for it to be shown on OTT, because it is a big screen watch.

While the action sequences have their moments, and the cast puts in their best efforts,
While Yudhra delivers on action and has a few stylish and new sequences, the plot lacks depth, relying on familiar storylines. Despite the somewhat predictable narrative, the film remains an entertaining watch, especially for those who enjoy fast-paced action thrillers with a touch of romance.

While the action sequences have their moments, and the cast puts in their best efforts,
Yudhra still falls into the trap of being just another formulaic action film. The lack of emotional depth, overreliance on cliches, and better editing make this film feel like a missed shot at something more substantial in the action genre. And like the hero, that offers enough reasons to make you angry… very angry!
